Roma and Milan close Serie A round 16 in a crunch clash at the Stadio Olimpico. Sitting second and third respectively, the Giallorossi and the Rossoneri are level on points which means a win for either side will see them break away from the other, and more importantly keep the pressure on Juve.
Watch the goals below.
The Turin side are seven points clear, but with a game in hand.
Both clubs are having impressive seasons, especially Milan whose boss Vincenzo Montella is doing a remarkable job with a side not many saw this high, or even more contesting for a title. Montella has a very talented squad at his disposal and seems to have found the perfect balance between experience and youth. Considering they don’t have continental competition obligations, they are well placed to continue pushing for a strong finish or even challenge for a title.
Roma were quite impressive this campaign, scoring a whopping 35 goals so far, and are besides Juve the only side unbeaten at home (they won all seven matches). Last weekend, Luciano Spalletti’s men cruised to a suprisingly comfortable 2-0 win over bitter rivals Lazio last week, as second half goals from Kevin Strootman and Radja Nainggolan handed the Giallorossi a fully deserved victory.

Milan on the other hand, struggled to a close out a 2-1 triumph over relegation candidates Crotone, who had given the Rossoneri plenty to think about throughout the encounter. Gianluca Lapadula took centre stage and scored a late winner to hand Milan the win after a disappointing encounter.
